BIO-VIM LRP Bioabsorbable Ligament Anchor

BIO-VIM® -LRP is a bio-absorbable suture anchor combined with a PEEK tip.
It is designed to be implanted into bone for the attachment of tendons/ligaments/soft tissues via a suture attached to the device used in arthroscopic or open surgical procedures.
This device is available in two sizes and is made of a material that can be chemically degraded and typically absorbed via natural body processes.
They are fully-threaded knotless anchors designed for use with BioFiber® suture or BioFiber® Tape in rotator cuff repairs using the Cross Bridge technique.
The simple knotless technique consists of passing sutures or tapes through tissue, loading them through the closed BIO VIM®-LRP eyelet which is then inserted into a bone socket.
BIO-VIM®-LRP anchor is cannulated and vented to allow for potential bony ingrowth. The anchors are available in 4.75mm and 5.5mm diameters.
The BIO-VIM®-LRP can be used in lateral row fixation in a Cross Bridge technique and also in the Knotless double-row technique in rotator cuff repair surgery

BIO-VIM® -LRP combines a bioabsorbable, osteoconductive suture anchor with a PEEK tip, engineered for tendon, ligament, and soft tissue attachment to bone via a suture in arthroscopic or open surgical procedures.
Comprised of Poly (L-lactide-co-D, L-lactide) with ß-tricalcium phosphate, a blend of 70% RESOMER® LR 706 S and 30% ß-TCP, these anchors degrade chemically and are typically absorbed through natural body processes.
Available in two sizes, BIO-VIM® -LRP is fully-threaded knotless anchors intended for use with BioFiber® suture or BioFiber® Tape in rotator cuff repairs employing the CrossBridge technique.
